Our mission at Lelú Water Farm is that all stakeholders, including local communities, staff and investors, benefit from the creation of an industry that furthers the economy and self-sufficiency of the State of Kosrae in the Federated States of Micronesia, which is under a Compact of free Association with the USA.
Our policy is to involve the local population in all aspects of the business. Lelu Water Farm’s objective is to develop operational skills over time and encourage our local staff to assume management roles in the business. Training is a key focus of this operation and to facilitate this the College of The Federated States of Micronesia has been approached to offer an education program covering the operational details of the facility, ensuring the integrity of the finished product is not compromised. This will be “hands-on” learning supported with classroom tuition as required.
Our aim is to get all local and expat staff members to reach the maximum level of their ability. Staff showing exceptional ability will be sponsored to attend external institutions to further their knowledge and key staff will attend seminars and industry events to ensure they keep abreast of industry technology.
We are committed to the sustainable harvesting of pristine mineral water and rainwater using the best ecological and quality-controlled practices.
